update 6/10: Keyboards arrived. Awaiting boxes in the mail and will PM people once they arrive (wed 17th latest). If you want just the key caps and to save on shipping I am ready to ship now. PM me.
update 6/12: Shipping boxes arrived. First round of PMs went out.
update 6/13: Second few PMs went out. I will give those interested but have not replied a few days to before considering them no longer interested and moving on. Please be patient if you have not heard from me yet.
update 6/15: Everyone that posted or PMed me is replied to. Everyone will have a few days to pay until these get opened up to the Classifieds. All dibs at that point are off and it's first to pay gets them.

I have an opportunity to pick up several Apple Extended Keyboard II M3501 (http://deskthority.net/wiki/Apple_Extended_Keyboard_II) at a discounted price. They are all 'yellowed but tested and working' from the seller. These would be a perfect match to the Alps 60% PCB GB (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=69740.0), Infinity harvest or simply for a cheap M3501 :p
The only catch is I need to order 20-ish of them to get the price. This will be an at-cost group buy so they will me my cost plus shipping to you. However, I don't have any shipping materials so a USPS flat rate box may be best for 2 keyboards, else, I'll drop them off at UPS and tell them to box/ship it or have to buy boxes, which may increase the (shipping) price slightly. I can pull and sell a key cap set to save shipping but take note of the key cap irregularities (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=72438.msg1765964#msg1765964)
If there is enough interest and this turns in to a GB I will get exact drop and ship quotes from FedEX and/or UPS.

Correct they are all US/ANSI layout. As far as switches go I'd have to ask the seller but I'd imagine they would be a dampened ALPS. It's a take-all or take-none deal so I hope some are flexible on the switches.

Awesome thank you guys for the quick replies. Looks like there are 9 of 20 potentially claimed. If we can hit 20 people interested I will be moving this forward and turning it in to an official GB and give those who posted their interest priority.

Rough estimate from USPS via online printed postage for a keyboard size box (12"x6"x24") of 5lbs is $54.64 to Melbourne.

1. They have nice dyesub PBT caps, but...
2. The spacebars are ABS and often yellow and..
3. The caps are a slightly different profile from most other boards and...
4. The layout is odd. The function row switches are rotated 90 degrees, and the bottom row is 1.5-1.25-1.5-6.5-1.5-1.25-1.5. The numpad plus is also split compared to non-Mac boards.

With your two I believe that is 14 of the 20. Just over a handful left and we'll move on to a proper GB.

The seller did not pull caps but did confirm that they're all made in the USA so they should all have Alps switches (not Mitsumi switches). I'm expecting dampened cream Alps in all of them. They should be on their way today or tomorrow so I'll know for sure when they arrive, at which time, I'll start the
GB on second thought I may just make a post in the classifieds section for these as that may be more appropriate.

Yep. The keyboards have arrived but I am awaiting boxes since I had to order them from Staples online since they are a non stocked item in stores. Once the boxes get here (I was told Wednesday 17th at the latest) I will go down the list and PM individuals that expressed interest.
However, if anyone wants just the key caps and to save on shipping I'm ready to pull and ship now. Please feel free to PM me if that's the case.

One I randomly picked to open and keep [harvest]. Expect similar condition/yellow.

Seller says they are all yellowed (confirmed by me), complete (confirmed by seller) and functional (claimed but unconfirmed). They're all extremely well packaged from the seller so I am not going to open them up and have to repackage them. Realize that includes not checking switch types or testing them so they're sold as-is. They're all made in the USA so assume you're getting cream dampened ALPS. If you get either salmon or white dampened consider yourself lucky :p but I've seen a lot of m3501 and I've never seen anything except cream from USA made ones. If you can't live with this then please don't buy. I expect most are harvesting them anyways.

Yeah international shipping on these isn't going to be cheap :'(

Of those 9, 7 were invoiced and the other 2 cancelled.
Of the 7 invoiced, 2 have paid. Thank you! Your keyboards will be in the mail Monday.
By about Wednesday anyone who still hasn't either replied or paid will lose their priority spot and I'll be moving down the list. Anyone else who is interested please don't hesitate to post.
