Title: Okay, I won an Ebay auction...NOW what do I do with it?

I was looking for a numeric keypad with Cherry MX switches for home and work, bouncing around various ads on Ebay, when I saw something vaguely keypad-like and normally very expensive:

New Genovation 900-RJ 20-key MiniTerms start at ~$177 plus shipping. These two I got for a "best offer" of $35, shipping included.

Granted, these are not new. One of them was missing a key and one of the feet (Cherry keys are easy, though, and I probably would redo it anyway), and both were missing RJ45 to DB9 and RJ45 to USB adapters (both of which are cheap to pick up), but still it's not a bad price...if I had an idea what to do with them.

So, suggestions? Has anyone used these for anything useful? Can they be programmed for high-end number pad things, or am I going to have to just use them for (possibly useful) macros and things like that? I have to admit that I saw their higher retail pricetag (even higher than the Genovation CP48 ControlPad) and thought there must be some awesome reason for the difference.

However, after looking at the various manuals online, I am failing to see anything *that* exciting, though granted, the Cherry switches are nice enough. Surely I am missing something here?

Seeing those images I would *love* to have a calculator with MX switches at work!
