Topre Type Heaven RGB - Cherry MX Keycap compatible, Adjustable software based actuation point (1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm). Price a bit higher than current Type Heavens, expected release around next year. Clear Topre housing + white plunger + SMD LED. As per Topre's request, no pictures of the MX plunger for now, sorry. Possible that these could end up in Novatouch, still in the talks.:eek:
And for those wondering about Topre Keycaps, the rep said the production is on hold, as there isn't much demand for them. MOQ is around 1k sets per colour, doesn't matter if blank or dyesub.

They have my interest in the type heaven. I'd pick one of those up without hesitation. Kind of a shame that ducky went with the same **** case design for the yots as they have on the shines. That just ruled that board out for me =(I'm not fond of the case design either.... Wonder if it would be possible to swap the guts of it into my shine 3... XD

It's supposed to be very thin, or did I read wrong? Oh well. My concern would be the dip switches.They have my interest in the type heaven. I'd pick one of those up without hesitation. The 2nd pcb is quite thin, so I think there shouldn't be any clearance issues, unless the mounting points are a bit diff.

(...)Dual mounted PCB. Secondary "SMD LED" PCB is thin, probably less than 1mm. Ducky used a larger SMD LED to light the Cherry housing as opposed to fitting the SMD LED into the switch bottom housing. They're still deciding about TKL, price not set yet.

Is that Topre keyboard going to become a reality or is it only a prototype?
The reason I ask is because I took part in the CM topre tour and loved the characteristics of Topre but it did have some flaws maybe that was down to CM's construction but as a gamer I would benefit from those features rgb, analogue keys and adjustable actuation points. There was a guy making a keyboard called Aimpad which you've probably read about but uses linear Cherry keys and there is no indication of a release date. If these are truly coming out in 2016 is it exclusive to type heaven? In the gaming world exclusivity unfortunately goes to a few manufacturer's like Corsair.

Topre was just demonstrating what they were capable of. The RGB backlighting + MX Sliders will most likely come out with Type Heavens first, and/or be licensed to another keyboard company (I'm guessing CM). The different actuation point demo is still in their early prototypes, and will most likely first appear on the Realforce line of keyboards.
