This is an interest check for a one off Nuka Cola keycap for DSA only. Since a DSA profile version of Fallout keycaps is not on the top of everyone's list, I have decided to run two Nuka Cola DSA ABS Doubleshot keycaps as seen in the mockups below:
Red ABS/White ABS Classic Blue Translucent PC/White ABS Quantum ---->(for material reference, see this KeyPop.net DCS Row 1 Cloud keycap):

DSA Side-by-side comparison with SA Row 3 for reference (DSA is the keycap on the left):

I may consider doing more keycap legends in a Series II DSA, but it all depends on how well these do.
Current Plan: GH Group Buy put on by yours truly (I am leaving PMK out of this one while they get their act together). I am looking to post both of the above keycaps with individual pricing, so if you like one, or the other, or both, please buy as many as your little heart desires, and then tell all your friends to join the cause.
The GB thread (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=73996.0) is now up!
(Special thanks to yinzer for suggesting DSA profile for Fallout-themed keycaps, apparently there is some interest beyond just GH)
{For more information about SA see Out of the Vault: Series II (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=66851.0)}

Yes, absolutely interested. Will probably buy multiples of everything.
For other ideas, how about a Lucky 38 cap and BoS symbol?
-
Interested.
Especially with the 111.
And I have a secret about the new game. But I'm not telling.
-
These will sell like tremendously well with E3 having FO4.
-
interested!
-
Absolutely interested!!!
-
If these were to go up soon, I feel like they'd be immensly popular. It would be great if we were able to have it go through MassDrop for maximum publicity.
Gotta capitalize on that hype train.
Also, how about a Signature Plastics GDE Gray Yes-Man cap to match the Granite horde rolling in from the recent GB?
-
Not interested in DSA profile. I really don't like DSA.
-
I would much prefer DCS or SA, SA would be more thematic.
-
I am in for SA profile, they wouldn't fit with my DSA set.

Same. I will buy at least two sets of each this time

Leaning towards Nuka Cola keycap only for Round 1.

First retro, and now this? Totally interested if SA

This IC is for DSA only and will likely only feature the Nuka Cola keycap...for information on a new GB for SA only, please go to [IC] Out of the Vault: SA Row 3 Series III (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=72558.0).

Edit to OP and Heading...no Vault 111 at this time.
-
Not really interested in a single keycap, especially this one. I'd be much more partial towards a Vault 111 cap.
What would be the harm in submitting the same designs for DSA as you are for SA?

There is no harm outside a failed group buy attempt. I never want to have another failed group buy again.
Out of the Vault: Series I featured only the Vault 13 keycap legend. I put it up at the same exact time that Nuclear Data was running. It was for a single keycap and keycap design. I did MOQ at 100 to set the initial price per keycap at $1.44 each, and promptly sold 201 of them.
Out of the Vault Series II introduced the Vault 101 and Nuka Cola legends, and had a few different colorway tie in Child Deals that netted 254 total Parent Deal sets sold. Again was a success.
Out of the Vault Series III, which is coming soon, will again feature two new legends, Vault 111 and Lucky 38, as well as all the others and will likely be a huge mega set with all colorways available in the Parent Deal. This is the set I will be most focused on since it ties into many other SA profile sets.
Now, based on the current interest level here on GH for the DSA keys in general, I feel that I may start small with only one legend again. I am very proud of the Nuka Cola legend, and it is a very recognizable feature of the Fallout universe, and thus should net a very successful group buy. Since this is all still up for IC both here and also on the new PMK, there is room for changing strategies. Nothing is set in stone, and I may yet still try to run both the Nuka Cola and Vault 111, but again the interest must be there.
I do not like failed group buys, and the egg that is on my face because of them.
-
Best of luck. While I appreciate your reasons for being cautious, I respectfully disagree, more respectiably than my earlier, short reply would have indicated.
Though, while GH is probably the most supportive of group buys, I don't think the attitude against the DSA profile is representative of all keyboard enthusiasts. The Granite DSA group buys have been the most successful runs of any one set by a considerable margin.

FYI - each new legend costs $45. This causes the keycaps to go up considerably when creating all new legends in the DSA profile. I have been told by Signature Plastics that the SA legends will not transfer over and will need to be re-created to fit the new profile.

Don't even sweat it man. Your approach is solid. There's a market for DSA but it's no longer the flavor of the month on GH, so interest is less vocal. You're wise to be cautious.
@yinzer: If you want to see more DSA novelty keys, support the existing interest checks and group buys. It's the only way things get made and evolve into bigger projects with greater appeal.

I'm up for this! Would buy a little batch just to tip it. Love my SA Nuka Cola and would love them in DSA also.
-
Would prefer SA, but sure, I'll take one for DSA.

I'd be interested in this, maybe a glow one?
-
I am def down for this buy!
-
I hope Nuka Cola is successful, and more follow... 256 people bought DSA VIM keycaps!

I certainly hope so. I am actually tempted to try this one all by my lonesome...but then second thought, I will let SP take all the risk for shipping...
-
Edit: If not PMK, I know people would buy these up on Massdrop...
-
Update: This sounds crazy but I think I will try to do this GB solo with SP directly and leave PMK out for now.
GB parameters would likely be as below:
X Nuka Cola key(s) + group buy fee + applicable shipping cost (whether US or International)
I am still on the fence about this, but I really want to get the DSA keycap on its way to those who want it.

I would definitely buy a few

Even if this ends up the only DSA Fallout cap, I will get a few.

Count me in!

OP has been updated...
-
I'm down for atleast 1 copy of both but I'll probably get more
-
I would be interested in picking a few of each color up, for sure.
-
I would probably get 2 of each. Just got into keycaps and have been looking for this set for months.

Profile is fine. Will they be sphericals?

I don't think DSA can be spherical. That is typically reserved for SA.
-
Good. Sphericals would look strange on my corsair k70.

DSA may still look strange since it is squatty but symmetrical. And not like the OEM profile keycaps the come stock on Corsairs
-
Looking to launch soon...thinking early to mid August.
-
That's so perfect for me! I can get a nice surprise for my brother, he's the biggest fallout fan.
-
Should I only offer them in single quantities? Or in sets?
-
Sets work better for me, I'd buy 2 sets atleast. How would the price change if it was a set compared to singles?
-
Added reference picture for comparison between DSA and SA.
-
Also added a keycap reference for what Blue Translucent PC will look like with white ABS.
