Found this while browsing ebay. Rebranded Cherry G80 with PBT and MX Blacks.

Unless it's been modified it will have MX browns.

Looks like thin lasered PBT. I've seen these go for $40 shipped in the past. So not a horrible price, but not a great one either.

LPAUS should be MX Blacks according to the Cherry article numbers on DT wiki.

Yeah, it should be. But sometimes Cherry keyboards aren't what they should be according to the article numbers.
This one has MX browns for sure.

My experience is that the G80-11800 has the trackball and MX brown, and that the G80-11900 has the trackpad and MX blacks.
The track ball and its buttons suck but the track pad is very nice, although small and too old for things like 2-finger swiping.

I have heard that there would be Compaqs with thick lasered keys but I have not actually seen one. Would they have the older font?

No clue, I've only seen thin PBT. Some of the thin PBT boards will have a spattering of thick caps, usually an enter, backspace, or shift (from what I've seen), but I don't know if that's true with the G80-1800 boards.

Compaqs with thick PBT = dots on F, J.
Compaqs with thin PBT = lines on F,J like this one.

I havent tried the trackball but the trackpads are bad IMO. Well not bad: they are usually Cirque or alps (and possibly synaptics on newer models) but they are very low DPI. Buttons are cherry microswitches, which are like those omron ones everyone likes in their mouse but a little more clicky. I rather like them and harvest them when I can.

The stabilised keys are thick on all G80-series boards with otherwise thin PBT, AFAIK.
