Title: KUL ES-87 Nkey Rollover at Boot

Hi all,

I am fairly new to mechanical keyboards and I have a new KUL ES-87 with a strange habit. There is a DIP switch to switch between 6key and nkey usb rollover. If nkey is selected when I enter the bios password some characters are not recognized and the enter key is treated as a character. If I switch to 6key everything works just as expected. Is this normal or expected behavior or should I do an RMA? My searches yielded nothing so I am hoping some kind soul here could help me out.

I leave my ES-87 in nkey at all times and have had no issues across several different computers (With the exception of my 2001 iMac G3). If this issues persists once the computer has booted, then an RMA would do you good. If not, it's likely to just be some sort of incompatibility that's in the BIOS. What kind of motherboard is it?

Incompatibility between n-key rollover systems and BIOS is a common issue-- in fact, it's one of the reasons why keyboards with n-key modes often also have 6-key modes instead of just being in n-key mode all the time.
