Title: Damn you BBC...

So,  they released a nice little documentary a while back, "Wild China" on Bluray

The first printing came with episodes 1-3 on a BD25 with VBR 1080i/60,   and 4-6 on a BD50 with CBR 1080i/60

Obviously the second disk had much better quality and clearer picture.


NOW.... now....  They released another printing,  Both are BD50s now, higher bitrate..  NICE..   BUTTTT....  now it's only 1080i/50 and there's a weird line artifact on the Left edge of the screen in some scenes..

The only reason CD's are so expensive compared to vinyl was because the new technology was so expensive, but the prices of CD's barely went down and the jump to digital has seen them rise, yet the record industry still cries about streaming serves and pirates making them homeless...

How is 8.49 gbp  cheap?

For a full TV series? It's pretty much £10 for just a full length movie.

It's 8.49 gbp for 300 minutes..   but I still don't see how that's cheap, considering it came out in 2008

Planet Earth is 550 minutes, was released a year earlier, is 3GBP more expensive.

It's a good price.
