Title: [WTS] FILCO TKL Blues (ISO) + extras SOLD
Post by: ShivaYash on Tue, 09 June 2015, 05:17:17
SOLD

Dear all,

I'm having a clear out and selling a few boards.

First up is my beloved FILCO TKL with Cherry MX blue switches. As you'll see from the photograph, this lovely item has custom laser printed keycaps from WASD in the USA, although stock caps can also be supplied as no extra cost. The WASD keys have very little wear to them, the only shine I can see is on the spacebar. The casing is MINT with no marks or nasties whatsoever. I've upgraded the USB cable to an excellent high quality handmade one by PEXON PCs, I needed the extra length to reach my computer, and its blue, to indicate the key switch. The original stock cable will be included in the sale.

The layout is UK ISO but will also suit DE and other layouts include JP.

I can include, for a small extra fee, the original FILCO wrist rest in leather.

The KB will come in its original box, complete with the PS/2 to USB adapter, instruction paper and plastic keycap protector. The leather wrist rest is unboxed and can be sold separately.

The item is located in London although I'm happy to post worldwide, please ask me for a shipping quote.

KB: £114 retail from the official UK dealer, keyboardco, I'm asking £85 or near offer.
Wrist rest retailed at about £42, now discontinued, I'm asking £29 or near offer.

not a bad price for a solid board, though you shouldn't be so quick to jump to ebay, it's only been a couple of days ;)

This is actually my wife's board, so the Browns are really nicely worn in. She is a journalist and beforehand, it was my daily driver for about 12 months.
Its lovely... I'm minded to keep it but also need the space. Let me know what you think.
