You probably already know how much I enjoy seeing a new keyboard getting released...

Looks good. I would probably try one.

They started a thread about their tour: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=72672.0

Love their keyboard design, been following it hoping they'd come out soon with their kickstarter project.. and here it is.
And to top it up, really can hardly believe it... Coast to coast USA tour, and they're doing one Canada visit - Newmarket - Ontario at Matias. 5 min. from my place. I gotta see this with my own eyes!
I sense a wallethack coming up very soon!

Well, As Steve at Matias pointed out, we're actually going to be in Aurora. And we are visiting Vancouver on the other end ;)
But yay! Can't wait to meet you :)
Now, go RSVP for the meetup. Right now, Toronto is one of only two meetups with 0 RSVPs :)
-
My confusion... I am an imported Dutch guy in Canada ;) can't keep the city names apart, Aurora and Newmarket so close...
Will RSVP for sure!
-
RSVP'ed. Will see you outthere!!!

It's happening! (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/keyboardio/the-model-01-an-heirloom-grade-keyboard-for-seriou)
Here's the question though… what's the expected distribution scheme, pricing and all that jazz after the crowdfunding campaign & delivery?

Considering estimated ship date is a year from now, they got some time to figure it out.

Good news that it apparently got funded without my money, because I won't have to worry about it for the next year.
