Title: How to edit Soarer's Converter config?
Post by: joerush25 on Thu, 11 June 2015, 06:26:03
I recently bought a soarers converter pre made cable from ebay.

How can I extract the current config from the converter to add my own edits to it?

Here is the result of running "Scrd.exe" found in the tools folder

C:\Users\******\Desktop\soarers\tools\Soarer_sctools_v1.10_win32>scrd randomfilename
scrd v1.10
scrd: looking for Soarer's Converter: found
scrd: sending read request: ok
device: has 0 bytes: ok
scrd: complete
scrd: writing file: 2 bytes: ok

so when it says "device: has 0 bytes" does that mean that there currently is no config on it?

Also when I open this new file i made "randomfilename" in notepad, the contents are only "SC" in plain text

If you bought it from orihalcon, the instructions are pretty clear in the comment section of his auction.
