I am interested to here if you guys like hybrid boards, and if so, what switches you prefer where?

Hybrid what?

I assume he means different stiffness switches in different locations, like some topre boards have 45g alphas and 30/35g mods iirc?

That looks like its more designed to use every possible switch type than to optimize useability... pretty funny though.

Yeah, I've seen a couple DIY boards with one switch type for the alpha and another for the mods. For the life of me, I can't find some of the posts that I've seen them in. I'll keep looking and report back.

Variable weight? I see. I've been confused, because I've noticed the word "hybrid" in all sorts of context from touch/gestures to, eh, NovaTouch MX-compatible stems.
I hate variable weight, because I don't type 100% time. Having some keys stiffer than others in, say, a WASD-like cluster is just wrong.

I've had a similar question. Maybe that helps: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=70934.0

That had a lot of good information, thanks.

I put lighter switches on modifiers quite a bit when I build things... like blacks with red mods, clears with brown mods, white with blue mods. Always put stiffer switch than alphas on spacebar. Generally I don't care to mix linear/tactile/click together though.
