I'm selling some laminated key cap mats! I have ten left in stock as of 2015-07-13, 09:32 Central US time. But, I do need to order more mailing tubes if I get more orders.
$5 shipped within the United States.
$10 shipped outside the United States. (Wow! Was $15! What a deal!)
$5 per additional sheet regardless of destination.
Payment via Paypal invoice, ships in a couple of days. I ship these in a cardboard tube as a USPS First Class package. Satisfaction guaranteed.

These are "keycap_paper_legal_v3.pdf", printed on legal paper and laminated with Scotch brand thermal laminating pouches.

I'll pick one up. Pm me.

Sorry, I'm an old man and go to bed early. ;) I see some PMs and I'll respond in the morning.
-
Would it be ok for you to share the pdf as well? Some of us live abroad and shipping would be unnecessarily high, may as well let then print it out themselves.

Yep. This. Anyone is welcome to print these out. I'm just doing this as a convenience.
Someone asked if these are "still available". I can always generate more pretty easily. In fact, I will have to, if everyone who has expressed interest so far picks one up.
I believe I've responded to all PMs so far. Please let me know if somehow I missed yours!

Update:
I'm changing my shipping method from "large flat envelope" to "cardboard tube" for all orders. This is a free upgrade for all existing orders.
However, this does increase my costs. For all new orders, the price is now $7 shipped. All of this is the cost of the more durable tube and the extra shipping.
-
Added this line to the OP:

What this means is that if you get the tube and the laminated sheet, and there is something wrong with it, send me a PM with a photo of what is wrong and we'll figure something out! Though, I'm hoping that shipping these in a tube and not in an envelope avoids most mailing issues (folds, dents, and the like).

How much would these be to ship internationally?

How much would these be to ship internationally?
I'm happy to ship internationally. The rate depends on the country. Also, sadly, a tube is rather more expensive to ship than an envelope.
For the UK I can do $15 for a single laminated sheet and $5 for any additional sheets. It will probably be similar for most other countries.
-
Overseas shipping of tubes sucks cost-wise. I used to send art back and forth regularly. $15 sounds like a steal. :D
-
So far, 14 orders have been placed and 13 have been paid. Thanks everyone! I wonder if I should have run this as a group buy. Maybe next time. I still have a few more here. I can make as many as anyone desires. It will just take me a little while to replenish some supplies if I get way more orders. That just takes a couple of days.
Right now the only shipping delay is waiting for mailing tubes. I'm as excited to mail these to all of you as you are to receive them but I can't do much until the tubes are here.
I've checked a bunch of other countries for shipping rates and it looks like $15 will cover shipping to any country other than the US! I'll update the OP with this fact... EDIT: Done. I've also added a flat price for adding extra sheets in case you want two or more.

Fortunately these tubes are light, at least according to the seller. Let's just hope there are no surprises when the tubes get here. >_<

I used to get the heavy-duty direct from uline. I doubt those are needed for this. I also would cut them down with a razor knife so there wasn't a ton of extra length for **** to slide around in it. Again, probably not a concern here, but may cut down on costs if they give you **** about length of tubes contributing to higher cost.

The cardboard mailing tubes are in the mail. They should arrive around Thursday is my guess. l'll get the laminated sheets out within a day or two. If you ordered and paid, I'll send you a PM when your order is on the way. Also just for fun I'll post a photo of all the tubes ready to go!
-
Can't recommend enough, got mine from Techkeys a while back and use it all the time
-
The cardboard tubes are here! They are too long and I need to cut each one down with a hacksaw. These should be in the mail Tuesday at the latest!
-
All packed and ready to go! These will be in the mail tomorrow. I still have enough supplies on hand to make three more sheets. Any takers? :D

Okay, all orders are packed and labeled and will go in the mail tomorrow morning. For anyone who paid through PayPal invoice: I think PayPal will send a delivery confirmation number. If not let me know. I've contacted anyone international with a tracking number. Anyone else, sorry, no tracking for you!
I'll drop the price back down to $5 since I over-estimated printing costs. Three sheets left!

Replied to PM, invoice sent.
wakko wants one for local pickup. So that leaves one remaining! I'll edit the OP.
I can make another batch of 20 if I start getting orders in. This will require more laminating and mailing supplies.

All orders are shipped! Hooray!
If anyone wants another let me know. I'll maintain a list of interested parties. If we get at least 10 I'll run another batch.

Received mine today, thanks :)
-
Got mine today in NJ. Thanks!
-
Got mine today. Looks awesome. I may also use it as a placemat for my oatmeal.
-
Great! I'd love a picture of one of the mats that arrived. Are they damaged at all? Are they un-curling okay?
I have six more tubes left in case anyone wants more. They are easy to print and lamination takes about a minute. Let me know! :)

Since I have two I left one taped to the table to uncurl it. I'll see in the morning how it goes. I might lay a book on top as added measure. If anything I'll take a hair dryer to add some heat to the mix.

also got mine today! Thank you sir for having these made!

It arrived in good shape. The curl isn't too bad either

Heat may help with uncurling. Perhaps leave one out in the sun for a little while to get it warm, that may work about as well as a hair dryer.
-
Got mine yesterday. Really happy with it as I no longer have to use tiny print outs. Thanks XMIT! :thumb:

Or put your oatmeal on it...
-
I'll take one next time they're available, thanks
-
I've ordered another 20 laminating sheets. I'll run out of tubes soon too so I'm going to try making my own triangular mailers out of scrap cardboard.

And my mailman folded both into my mailbox...that jerk
-
I use 3 mil Scotch laminating sheets for these.
-
oh dear. just laminate them with boat anchors XD
-
I prefer the thick sheets! Speaking of which, the sheets arrived today. I wasn't expecting them until Tuesday. I'll ship next weekend.
-
Woohooo
-
Hey XMIT, just wanted to know whether you got my order (same username over at Deskthority).
Looking forward to the sheet!
-
How do I order?
-
Sorry for the radio silence here friends, it's been a busy week. I've sent and processed a few more invoices. I'm going to work to pack these today, and ship on Monday.
If I invoice you after posting this message: know that your order may be delayed as I order more mailing tubes in. I have enough on hand to send one to every outstanding invoice already sent, but no more!
-
Do you still have for sale? I want one :)
-
I've got two mailing tubes left at the moment and about ten sheets. If you want one shoot me a PM with your PayPal email address and I'll shoot you an invoice! Thanks.
-
Good news! It looks like International shipping is less expensive when printing a mailing label through Paypal. I'm reducing the International rate to $10 from $15.
At the moment I'm all out of mailing tubes. If you send me a PM with your Paypal e-mail address, I'll send you an invoice, and order more mailing tubes.
(I do need to find a new supplier for tubes. The ones I have now are too long. I need to cut 3 inches off of each one manually to get it under the USPS length limits. I'll check ULine.)

Is there an ISO version of the files somewhere?
-
Oh, and one more thing: I'm working on my own key sheet, one of my own design that is two sided. I expect it will take me at least two months to finalize the design. When I do, I will release the new design here, and move all new orders to the new design!

Excellent. Very much looking forward to it!
