Title: Custom Keyboard Mounting plate help
Post by: HydraDyne on Sun, 14 June 2015, 03:23:45
I have designed the layout of the keyboard I intend to have laser cut at my school, and I have put it through http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/, but I can't find any use with the text it outputs. Is there an easy way to output to a 2D CAD, with switch holes stabilizers? Or am I doomed to have to draw it out by hand? Thank you for your time :)

I'd recommend using Swill's plate building tool (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=65189.0). But if you'd rather draw it yourself, I recommend downloading the switch cutouts from GH Cad resource (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=47744.0) thread.
