Title: Switches in a Sega Saturn keyboard
Post by: Blaise170 on Mon, 22 June 2015, 12:05:13
Anyone ever seen one of these? I love the keycaps but the price on ebay is too steep to take a chance on it being rubber dome or some other non-useful mount.

This video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpgAJI0X4nA) shows the black version of this keyboard: rubber dome with slider key switches.

I saw that video but the body of the white one isn't curved on the bottom which makes me think that it is a different manufacturer.

That keyboard is made by Fujitsu. I have one only in Swedish layout with integrated trackpoint.

It is the exactly the same domes as in the Sun Type 5 and Sun Type 6, if you have ever tried any of those...

Ah okay. Looks like Peerless switches on the Type 5 and I already have 7 too many of those boards.
