Title: Ergodox Case Info
Post by: braidn on Thu, 25 June 2015, 21:36:43
I have an original Ergodox(supposed to the new infinity one) from a massdrop group buy several years ago and am looking to upgrade the case itself. I feel like there is so much disparate information around the web regarding this somewhat trivial thing. So let's maybe start a thread for documentation of where someone looking for this information might find extra case options. Who has some recommendations? And thanks!

I'm rather partial my stainless steel case, but I don't expect to be running another GB so your best bet on that route, is to get the .dxf (I think I posted them in one of my threads but both the ergodox thread and I think the CAD resources thread have them too) and get BigBlueSaw to cut you some 1/16th" SS.

Major advantage of a SS plate is you can use plate mounted cherry stabilizers. I don't think the Ergodox PCB supports PCB-mount stabs & I hate costar.
