Date: Saturday, August 1st
Time: We have the room from 5-8pm
This place worked well last time, but they no longer allow day reserving the study room on weekends since there is so much demand already. Either way, they serve sandwiches and strong coffee so all ages are welcome and encouraged to join us. Last time was quite fun, so lets do it again!

Had a good time with everyone! Only complaint was the killer heat in that back room.I have been known to heat up some rooms. :D

But honestly it was a sauna in there. Maybe I can find a place that has better air flow for next time. I'll be posting pics on Reddit in the next couple hours.

Agreed. I wonder if there are any better options for future meetups. Top criteria to me are:
1. Free
2. Spacious Enough
3. Good Temperature
4. Option to buy food/drink
The nice thing about having it at a coffee shop is that < 21 people feel welcome to join.
I would say if anyone knows the city better then I do (since I've only lived in Seattle for 3 years) and knows
of a good spot to meet up for next time suggestions are very welcome.

Next time we hold the meetup, if anyone is interested and I get my JT sliders in the mail, I'll do the swapping out sliders and lubing and silencing mod to show everyone..

Sometimes just reading about, and seeing photographs can't give you a good enough idea.
Meeting a bunch of people that are keyboard enthusiasts also helped me get out of my bubble.
I felt like I had to raise my voice too much while in that room, and it wasn't easy to hear others while everyone else was talking.
If there is a next time I will be sure to bring some of my keyboards.
definitely worth the 100 mile drive.
going through the free key cap bags was interesting, still need a few more random colored alphas to make my unicorn vomit board look more disgusting...

I agree I think even though there were clearly some issues with volume and heat, it was still quite a bit of fun. It is a really good way of getting to try
several boards too which can be hard unless you happen to know someone that has the same hobby or you want to buy everything just to try it.
Some of the projects people had and modifications were pretty inspiring as well.
