Only wish Itunes would eat flac. Tired of converting it to stupid alac.
I haven't done yesterday update yet. Maybe I shouldn't.
Zune software >>>>>>>>>>>>> iTunesit's the abusive wife you can't get rid off.. because of the kids (iPhones)..
I was sad when I was gifted an iPod Touch instead of a Zune back in the day. iTunes is such a piece of **** no matter what OS you're using. It's so counter-intuitive and such a pain.

Problem i have with data plans for music, is your super limited by genre and artist & then even more so by signal

I've been able to find everything except some mix tapes on Google play. I've only had signal cut out a couple times. I'm on sprint. It's probably way different there though. But also they give you 80gb free cloud storage for your own music that isn't on there.
I still can't get playlists that I have on iTunes sync with my phone, at all, I'm not the only one too; https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7104625?start=0&tstart=0I'm not sure. I can create playlist:
It's even more ****ed up that they decided to remove the option to make your own playlists on the device... like what the **** is wrong with the software team

I use FooBar2000. I also have to use alternative software to burn CDs.
FooBar2000 is open sourced though.

Use the audio writer component (http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_burninate) which adds CD burning. One less program to use.FooBar2000 is open sourced though.
Actually it's closed source, but freeware.
I just want to say that the reason iTunes have 10GB is probably due to the size of your iPad or iPhone backups.Only wish Itunes would eat flac. Tired of converting it to stupid alac.

When I started picking up more and more FLAC I left iTunes behind for good*. I use FooBar2000 on my desktop and laptop. I absolutely love it. I have been iTunes free for 2 years now. :p No, it doesn't sync with a phone, but I use an android phone, so I just transfer the files as if it were to a flashdrive or such. I also have to use alternative software to burn CDs. FooBar2000 is open sourced though. I don't take advance of that (I prefer the simple stock vintage theme with the album list and default showing), it certainly opens up lots of doors for those who want to customize their experience.
*I also left iTunes because of how much extra files it was stashing on my computer. When I deleted iTunes I deleted about 10 GB of random, extra files. Part of that is because I'm not to great with computers, cookies, and keeping it clean. The other part was just because iTunes liked to take advantage of my hard drive. Glad to be done with that. FooBar2000 is 58 MB at its simplest.
I used Zune for a while with my Zune, but it never seemed to run well. I haven't loaded it on my latest laptop or desktop.
Bottom line: I'm just glad to be done with iTunes.
I don't use any Apple devices. The only one I have ever had was about 8 years ago and used a different computer to upload.

Thanks for your input.
Yeah sorry my bad, tired and grouchy I totally missed the post above :P

Speaking of itunes does anyone have experience with moving your itunes library from one computer to another?Show Image(http://puu.sh/kWOlI/2d97b2e946.png)
1386 artists, 15136 songs
I need to re install my computer since forever but I'm so afraid to lose my ratings, playlists and all the other stuff.
Itunes sucks but Apple Music's recommendations are really good :(
So any user of Itunes have a clue on how to just disable albums rating ? It's fukin up my whole playlist I just want to remove this ****.

Like this for a exemple, this is my "RATE ME" playlist, and some albums got random rating assigned, so it gives me those stupid grey stars, CBA to browse through all my albums to change it down to 0 stars.
(rating on the far right is album rating).
What bothers me is I never rated albums and the grey stars seem to count just like regular star.
And they fuk up my sorting because if an album gets 2stars, all his tracks gets into my 2stars playlist
This is really not convenient because I still have a lot of sorting to do :Show Image(http://puu.sh/m2kWc/266c5bd6ee.png)
Basicly my system is I had new songs to my itunes they get into the "new playlist" (smart playlist of new songs that haven't been played yet)
I rate the decent one 2-3stars, they get into the "RATE ME" playlist (smart playlist of the 2-3 stars)
(Both of those playlists are 1000 songs more btw)
When they go up to 4-5 stars they get into my regular playlists
And so those random album rating are fukin up my system.

can't you edit the smart playlists to only count song rating and not album rating? Is this a new issue? I'm pretty sure iTunes has worked like that for years :/ but idk I've never used a system like yours as I tend to only add one or two albums at a time and listen to them solo a few times before rating

Too much music, I need an industrial system :xShow Image(http://puu.sh/m2lJy/83ccf86a4e.png)
Latest addition of the summer that I have not finished going through yet.
Just bumping this to remind everyone how AWFUL iTunes is. When did it become so difficult to add music to your phone? What happened to dragging and dropping stuff over???

It all died with the iPod app. The decline of a good music player...that said even if we got pre-iOS 7 (or heck, even 8 I think) music back I wouldn't complain one bit; and might even switch back to iPhone!
download everything offline
Anybody have any luck syncing everything to iCloud? I can only get about 25% of my library to sync.
iTunes evolved to the point that I had difficulty finding the music I had stored on my hard drive. The main goal of Itunes is to sell stuff, not help you organize your music, that's what they design it for now.
Since I made the switch over to Linux, I've found a number of better organized music players.
If you want to listen to music on your Iphone, but all the music is on your PC, then I advise you to use this software - https://softorino.com/waltr/windows-guides/how-upload-music-your-iphone-using-waltr/ - there is nothing complicated, and if you can't figure it out, then there are many articles on how to do it.But what if I want to rectally load my music through my Krause end-bulbs? Will this software help my music cross my blood brain barrier?
