Yew!
Long time stalker on geekhack after looking at some of the more model F related threads (especially the "Soarer's converter" and "Harry's ANSI Conversion" thread). Now that I am done and have a neato mechanical keyboard I thought I would introduce myself.
1. The keyboards
For years I had used a good ol' fashion Logitech G510, after I had probems with software drivers I was edging towards getting a software free plug n play mechanical keyboard. So mid last year I got 1 mechanical keyboard, I am now sitting at 4...... WHAT HAVE YOU ALL DONE TO ME

I will maybe upload my other KB's if I get around to it
2. The person that uses them
I live in Australia. I like mechanical keyboards, video games, 4WD's, old wooden furniture and crabbing.

Hey there, and welcome to geekhack! Which is your favourite keyboard/switch so far?
-
So far my favourite switch would have to be the Model F BS. Still has that awesome click-clack while not needing to be Lou Ferrigno to type on it for extended periods of time :P. Hopefully I can find a nice Topre 60% for a travel keyboard, but that will be when I have lost the ability to hold myself back from such a purchase

Nice! Buckling spring is a great switch, and I have heard good things about the Model F, but haven't tried one myself yet. I would definitely recommend the hhkb pro 2 as a 60% topre keyboard. You can even get Hasu's bluetooth controller for it, making it bluetooth!

Hey, I just saw your post on reddit too, welcome to both communities!

Welcome to Geekhack!
Aha! So you can modify an F122 to ANSI - I was wondering about that, trying to decide whether to get an M122 or an F122. Unfortunately my lack of time to undertake a project like that kinda obviates my joy in finding an ANSI-modded F122.
A Topre 60% - do you mean an HHKB, perchance? :p
-
either a HHKB or FC660C, both would be nice options, just comes down to if I can part with a arrow cluster.

hi

fc660c isnt 60%, so all that's left is hhkb. the one true keyboard.
also, sup

That's pretty much it - arrow keys or not. Either would be a find addition to your collection.
And chances are you'll end up with one of each anyway :p
