You wanna link us the thread on DT, or is this more of a scavenger hunt sort of deal?

Is there anyway to get this with the additional cutouts for the phantom PCB?

What do you mean? this is made for the phantom pcb.

So it has the extra buttons above the arrow cluster. Like this...

With the extended top row like the 7bit layout

Basically a lot like the design by hazeluff & TheProfosist for the function row and arrow cluster. That way you can use all of the Phantom PCB.

Regardless I'm in for it if it is the $70 or less price.

It will not, because it is meant to be used as a whole case, and used as a traditional TKL. It will be under $70 though!

Just so I understand, what exactly is being offered here? A pair of plates for each order (switch plate and case bottom)?

Are you offering several layout choices for buyers, e.g. ANSI 125, ANSI 150, ISO 125, and ISO 150? Is there a MOQ for each layout?

Thanks!

Yes, it is a top plate with switch cutouts, and a metal plate with no cutouts for the bottom, to make a JD styled "case." It is ANSI 150 and ISO 150. I would prefer to get 5 of each, but that might not matter. This GB is for the community, and is non profit.

Ah, thank you for clearing that up for me. I think this is a good idea for anyone looking to build a Phantom, and who doesn't mind the 150 layout bottom row. Good work.

I don't mean to sound salty, but if you're after an ANSI 125 keyboard, why wouldn't you simply buy a Filco, Ducky, or QFR?

I can't build my own Filco or QFR from scratch!

I'm definitely in for at least one, possibly 2 sets @ ANSI125.

Drop-in replacement controller from bpiphany, and replace stock switches with Gaterons.

But, okay, I get why people want a Phantom. I just never saw the appeal of an 87-key Phantom build, and always built mine as 86-key versions.

totally IN but, couple questions though really quickly?

1. Is the mounting hardware included? Posts I guess?
1. My guess is that this would need to have Costar stabs?
1. And there is placement for Gon's feet (like his real feet, not the aluminum ones he sells  :p)... seriously though the aluminum ones?
