Hey, this is much closer than NYC :D

I'd totally go to a meetup in the South, I hope there are others who would make the trip too.

Err I mean for a bigger meetup type thing though, on second read through I might have interpreted this wrong sorry hehe

I mean like a decent sized meetup. I'm not talking about having people in my apartment. I have a building with a big meeting space I can reserve.

This thread (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=76276.0) got me thinking. Maybe instead of a traditional meetup where we feel each other's boards up in a bar, it would be cool to do a field trip to the local e-cycler (like this one (http://www.ercrecycling.com/)) and see if we can find some good ****. It seems like there are a few (http://www.escrapusa.com/contact.php), even in Broward (http://www.arcbrowarderecycling.com/). The only problem is it seems like they're only open during business hours, so we'd have to find one that would let us come by on a weekend.
