My first keyboard was a Commodore 64. I learned coding on Commodore Basic as a mere suckling.

Loved that keyboard, I had the scroll wheel on the side mapped to control volume and thought it was so badass :))
HOLY COW!!!! THATS THE BOARD!!!
I haven't seen that keyboard in a decade! Mine was the ANSI layout, but I mapped my scroll wheel to volume control as well! You just made my day :D
So for the contest, my first fond memories of any keyboard came from the one above, so here's my first mech!

Got this just over 2 months ago and I absolutely love it. MX Reds on this here Ducky DK9008. Turquoise Meowcap for the escape and a Smoke w/ Red Eyes Raven from HKP on Scroll Lock.
Cheers all!
When the IBM PC exploded into the industry, I worked part time while studying and earn enough to buy a Acer computer with intel 486. It came with this keyboard which is an alps clicky. The photo below is a photo of my keyboard, not taken from the internet.

Ha! I knew there was something different in those Acer boards! Boy I had like 3-4 of those (any Acer sold in Northern Greece passed our computer shop) I really enjoyed typing on those. They did have their distinct sound. And heavy boards. IIRC they had 2 metal plates with 3 nylons sheets in between under the switches. I revived about a dozen of them after water got spilled on them. I truely have great memories of those boards. The only downside of those boards was that they couldn't take too many punches after long Doom sessions :D , hence I had 3-4 of them. If I knew that they were gems, I'd still have one...
the first keyboard that i bought is a Microsoft Sidewinder X4 which I promptly sold off after i found out about mechanical keyboards and got a Ducky Zero TKL.

I really want to learn how to use the Commodore 64 that was passed down to me, but I don't think that the floppies work for it anymore D=

When mechanical keyboard was introduced to me last year, I immediately thought I have it because one of mechanical keyboard's characteristic is its weight. This keyboard weighs almost 1 kg.
1kg!!!OMG lol
