Hi. Long time lurker here. Finally got around to registering. I'm designing a keyboard for an FPGA 8-bit computer project. Decided to go the WASDkeyboards route for complete control over the legends. Wanted to use Gill Sans. Turns out there are good reasons why no-one uses this typeface for keyboard legends (drop J, wildly different symbol sizes, etc.). I have tweaked it a bit so it's still recognizably Gill Sans, but looks a bit neater. Originally I had the command keys in Gill Sans light, but I was concerned that with the WASD printing process they wouldn't look very good so switched them to regular. I was somewhat inspired by the keyboards of the Commodore Plus 4 and the Atari ST. Plan is to have black type on white keys, and the reverse for the function keys. All comments and suggestions greatly appreciated.

Just a comment: I think the font looks great.

Thanks. I've made a few tweaks to the symbol keys and placed my order. I'll post photos when it arrives.

It has arrived.

Congratulations. I love it all except the ridiculous enter key :D

I like that font a lot.

The keypad has arrived. The layout should be familiar to former ST or Amiga owners.
