Not sure what the protocol is for posting up free stuff, but I already posted in the "free stuff" thread but given the geographical constraints figure this one should also be posted separately.
Anyway, I have an old Northgate Omnikey which I bought secondhand back around 2006, used for two or three years, then haven't touched since. PS2 cable, off memory (I'd have to dig it up to check).
It's been stored in a dusty environment, so the switches need a thorough cleaning as they are a bit gritty and I can't be arsed to pull it apart, so would prefer to see it go to someone who might appreciate it rather than ditch it.
Because it's so heavy (this weighs in the same range as a Model M), international postage is going to be impractically expensive.
Soooo... if you live in Hong Hong, and you can demonstrate that you have an interest in mechanical keyboards, it's yours for the taking. And by "demonstrate" I would mean at least a post history of 20 meaningful posts, or photos of any boards that you own. Sorry for this last requirement, but when I have tried giving away free stuff in HK before, I get contacted by people who obviously just want something, anything, free as they will try to resell it.
Edit: Added a photo. Apologies for the crappy image quality- I'm running really shor t on sleep....

Approved without verification photo since it's free. Please add a photo as soon as you can, both to satisfy the classifieds rules and to show potential recipients what they will receive. :thumb:

What switches are in this? I'd be interested in picking up depending on the switches and if you can hold for a little while.

I pulled a cap off a while back, the stem underneath was white. Does that indicate a switch type? I was assuming Alps White but I've never bothered to research it properly.

Most Omnikeys have white Alps.
