I had to remove my enter key today to grab a paperclip that got stuck on the side. As I put the key back on the spring got stuck somehow and got bent :(. Is there an easy way I can fix this? The keyboard is out of warranty and I don't know what Unicomp charges for repairs.

chopstick method
insert chopstick into spring hole and bend spring back into shape

if bending proves difficult, order another spring from Unicomp (will be dirt cheap) and do a complete spring swap using this same method

I had no idea they were removable, I'm gonna try this. Thank you very much!

they're not supposed to be, but if this is done properly that can be removed and replaced without much trouble

Well, here's the victim. The replacement assemblies for the keys are $.20, so I'm happy there. Could I temporarily steal the key from pause|break?
