Tasker's keycaps are pretty amazing, I think a lot of people haven't cottoned onto how large his range is and some of the cool materials they're available in.
Here's a few examples.Show Image(https://images4.sw-cdn.net/model/picture/625x465_2972744_8294491_1437820861.jpg)Show Image(https://images2.sw-cdn.net/model/picture/625x465_2929337_8918661_1429739102.jpg)Show Image(https://images2.sw-cdn.net/model/picture/625x465_2971798_8019312_1429741263.jpg)Show Image(https://images2.sw-cdn.net/model/picture/625x465_2715700_8521005_1429743103.jpg)

Hi Wuzadi. Thanks a lot for ordering these, I'm really glad you like them. Is it ok if I share your pictures on twitter or my shop?
Thanks also to Bosk for the kind words and to anyone who isn't aware, Bosk does some really cool custom keycap paintjobs, you should check them out!
Jerr there are quite a few pictures on my shop if you're interested, I also posted some in the artisan services board like this one:Show Image(http://i.imgur.com/u249qVY.jpg)
lol, thanks nubbinator, although I was aware of bingecaps I genuinely hadn't spotted those similar designs. I do hope no-one thinks I ripped them off (I'll admit, the hand does look extremely similar but I'd like to think that you can see the difference in my Cthulhu design!)

On the subject of keycap makers borrowing designs, I think a line should be drawn between taking inspiration from the work of other artists -something as old as art itself- and flat out intellectual property theft as evidenced by K3KC's casts of Brocaps.I whole-heartedly agree with that. 3D printing/modelling is great because it gives butter-fingered guys like me the chance to create what we want to create. I know that I could probably 3D print almost exact replicas of other people's designs, but that's always felt a bit icky to me. Like, what's the point if you're not actually creating anything new?? (or in the case of my hand and cthulhu caps, things you think are new ;) )
I don't see a problem with this. The concepts are things I drummed up, but keythulhu was a design that other cap makers were kicking around at the time as well. I just got mine to production. You have my blessings man... not that you need them, but I support individual expression of a concept. If you're ever up for teaching any of your 3D techniques please let me know. I am looking for someone to teach me so I can be ready for the coming and inevitable ruin of traditional sculpting on a small scale. :pThanks Binge, that's a very honourable standpoint. I'd be more than happy to teach you about 3D techniques. I don't think you have to be too worried about 3D printing though. It is certainly growing but it'll take a while to reach the masses and even then, as Bosk says, I don't think it'll ever get rid of traditional techniques like sculpting etc.
Artisan 3D printing? No.

Ouch

Ouch
Artisinal goods are handcrafted goods by definition. 3D printed is not handcrafted. So, by definition, it's impossible to have 3D printed artisinal goods.

There's definitely art in the actual design of these caps, but yeah, whether it be bread or cheese or keycaps, artisanal products are made in a non-mechanised way.
Mebe just call em Art Caps!
just CAD design and CNC the molds and then move to resin.
Just wanted to share some pics of the artisans I got from Tasker's shop on shapeways. Sorry I don't have the best pictures for these, taken on a iphone 5c lol.
Really loving the mask, a lot of detail within the mouth portion. Big diablo fan here, so I couldn't pass that up :)
Thanks again for the caps Tasker! ;D
Sorry haven't been on in awhile. They are backlit double shot pbt vortex keycaps. The ones that are currently on Massdrop!Just wanted to share some pics of the artisans I got from Tasker's shop on shapeways. Sorry I don't have the best pictures for these, taken on a iphone 5c lol.

Where did you get your white keycaps from?
Wait, I just read through this thread again and I have no idea who's actually making these, is it; XX7, Tasker or Wuzadi?
