Since no legends are printed on spacebars (at least normally), I have to wonder whether spacebars from doubleshot sets are thicker abs, or if they're the same as a normal abs spacebar. Just curious.

They are the same

thanks!

Think you're mistaken fknraiden. My SP DCS spacebars =/= GMK or Cherry spacebars. The SP DCS spacebars are thinner than the GMK/Cherry spacebars. Both are made from ABS.
Now I'm a bit confused. The SP DCS spacebars have the same wall thickness as the GMK spacebars but the GMK spacebars feel thicker and heavier.

Really depends on the manufacturing process for the spacebars. It's really not relevant if the rest of the keys are doubleshot or not. It all depends on the mold used to form the spacebar.

Kind of makes sense. the GMK spacebar might have a higher-density mold than your SP. So I guess thickness can be the same, but there are different manufacturing processes.

The only double-shot blank keycaps I have seen came from Tao Hai and were 1.25x modifiers (and possibly 1.5x modifiers).

I remember seeing an double-shot spacebar once, but cant remember from where and who made that.
