I have an Eve set I couldn't refuse when they recently became available, but my only boards are a full size hi pro (55g dome mod) and a 104UB (45g dome mod) I use at work.. plus some Roccat my wife got me that I used to use before I got a mech and now it just collects dust.
Anyway, I thought about getting a Novatouch and harvesting the adapters or whathaveyou and transplanting them into the 104UB and use the Eve set on that. I'd love to be able to just buy them separately but that would be too easy.
Anyway, if it's possible and someone knows how it could be done, I'd appreciate some guidance. Otherwise it looks like I will have to find a cherry switch i like.. probably brown.
Thanks!

You are going to have to buy the entire keyboard to harvest the stems to transplant. Though I hear that the stabilized keys are a bit trickier.
I feel that the closest MX to Topre would be ergo clears of some fashion. Though if you want to try stock clears, those feel nice as well, but nothing MX will be as tactile as Topre.
As a note, I do not own any Topre switches, just from what I have tried at Keycons and meetups. I have tried lubed ergo clears, stock clears, lubed stock clears, and a couple other variants.

You could harvest the novatouch, resale value would be a bit low though. Only key you would have major issues with is spacebar (due to stabilizers used)
Topre to MX Sliders are going on the new CTRLALT website at some point in the future (website relaunch is expected to be soon). Believe me, I want to buy some too!
It seems like you've modded topre boards before, so replacing the sliders shouldn't be too hard. :)
I second MX Clears. Lovely switch, easy to transition from 45/55g Topre.

Ctrlalt should have sliders for sale soon.

Thanks! I tried clears on a WASD Code keyboard and though the construction was great, I didn't love the clears and felt they were too stiff. I've never heard of ergo clears, but for someone who stands by topre and found brown to be a good switch, it may be something I would enjoy using. I still have yet to give red or black switches a try outside of hammering on them at the store.

Also, Novatouch is TKL, which means way less stems than a 104 key board. Either get two novas or one and some stems from people who are working on selling them, or get a MX board (last option sucks).
:))
lol I love how your option that doesn't suck is a $300+ venture with nothing left over but butchered keyboards.
Thanks!
