I think they were on the right track with the introduction to Garrisons with WoD. I think the execution of some of their plans was faulty, but it seems they are trying to make up for it by bringing back solid lore
and the things fans have been asking for years for. But yeah, I am most excited about the artifact weapons.

Yeah, I am going to go back to my Paladin as main for the Ashbringer. That bit of lore was the most intriguing to me.

Sounds like Demon Hunters can be tanks, as well. Definitely want to try that out.

Pretty much this. I always grind conquest PvP gear, gank fools in front of Org or bg/arena, then let my sub run out cause no one wants to PvP.

Might re-sub to play with some GH'ers after the expansion comes out.

I'm a raider but don't have the time anymore to raid when it requires maxing on valor and tokens and everything else.
Was able to do Heroic raids and PvP in Cata, but MoP and Draenor became too time consuming to raid at a decent level let alone do arenas as well...

Will definitely play long enough to get my Rogue and a Demon Hunter maxed(a month?) and some gear but depending on how they do daily requirements and what my free time looks like then I might just stop after that. I miss the old days of no dailies... Atleast none that I can remember in Vanilla-BC and at least in Cata you don't have to do them after a point.

I raided full time back then. Was easy to burn out. M'uru killed many guilds. Hardest boss encounter to date.

Going through that portal for the first time was the coolest thing ever.

I remember the game crashing a lot from that. PvP by the portal lol. Alliance and Horde crashing the server.

But I miss how this game used to be so simple, my best moment was when we only had a single dungeon (MC)
all that eating in front of the monitor, being lifeless, sleepless over high school summer holiday

I personally think they were lazy about implementing some new features, and they're finally getting around to it since they're bleeding subscribers.

Alas, I'm enjoying FFXIV too much to go back to WoW. Didn't like Pandaland (although Monk was fantastic as a class), and WoD just felt like more of the same to me, garrisons notwithstanding.

This looks like the first expansion since Lich King with any kind of meaningful change.

I was a pretty die hard raider up until Cata and I haven't really been back since but this really looks amazing :eek: Although I haven't activated my account in 2 expansions if anything could bring me back it would be this!!!!! Kind of feeling the hype :)) god I'm such a geek.....I wonder if my old guild fatal union is even still active on kargath

I would get so frustrated everyone on my server would just go for the generals (alterac)and none of the objectives so frustrating haha . Some of my favorite memories....Rhokdelar on my hunter vanilla (so much punishment) the roaming doom guards prior to BC that would just wipe out hundreds of people, My first tier sets haha opening of AQ sorry I'm jumping around the memories are flooding back ....I am excited

We have a guild on Hyjal that has been around for about 6 years now. They don't raid anymore, but im sure a few would if we got more peeps. I can't really commit to a crazy
schedule, but I think a 2 day raid week is feasible. (like 3 hours per day).

After that I got bored of it and eventually weaned my self off of it. If this is as good as it is hyped, I'll probably pick it up. Deffinetly don't want to get to the point I was before though.

Bro knows whats up.... I always used to roll goblin or troll for the racial but I heard they did away with that. I can't find my player on the armory anymore (I stopped playing in cata) but was a fairly decent raider I found a link to my old toon on kargath...

Buying wow on its own comes with all the xpacs up to WoD

i really love the game, and it's always my favorite thing to come back to and play, but it is a huge time suck. so uh, not recommended unless you have decent self control. :)

when a new xpac comes out, blizz usually sells a base version of the game that includes everything up before the new content, so you'll just need to purchase that.

Yea I tend to float between nonstop gaming and anything but gaming. Unless it's local gaming, then I'm always down, board games too.
