Title: Malfunctioning Tesoro Lobera Supreme
Post by: TommY.KillER on Mon, 10 August 2015, 11:31:11
Hello,
I don't know where else than on a keyboard forum I should ask, so I hope you'll be able to help me.

I've bought Tesoro TS-G5NFL mechanical keyboard in January this year. It's my first mechanical keyboard, it has blue Kalih switches and I really like it.
It's been working just fine with and without official drivers on various computers. Yesterday, however, it suddenly stopped responding.

What doesn't work: Any form of input (even in BIOS; it worked in BIOS before), Num/Caps/Scroll lock keys, cursor keys, Esc key, F-keys, Win key, functional key (Fn) with Num 2 and Num 8 (backlight intensitiy change), Fn with Ins and Del (NKRO and 6KRO), built-in USB hub
What does work: Backlight (and changing of its colour via keyboard's app), Fn key, Media keys (mute, volume, play, skip; Fn+F1-F6), changing profiles (Fn+F8-F12), Num/Caps/Scroll lock indicators (tested with second keyboard plugged in), programmable thumb keys for macros.

What solutions have I tried without success: Plugging the keyboard into various USB ports, reinstalling keyboard drivers, uninstalling drivers and restarting, restarting in safe mode, plugging keyboard to a different computer (Windows 7), switching between NKRO to 6KRO (the key combination didn't work).

Should I try to get my keyboard changed when it's still under warranty or are there another options?

Thank you.

If they keyboard is showing the same symptoms when connected to multiple computers, then you're certainly dealing with defective hardware. Contact the manufacturer and initiate a warranty claim. Be sure to have a copy of your purchase invoice in case they ask for it.
