Title: Too much salt..
Post by: tp4tissue on Thu, 13 August 2015, 02:24:22
I got der  Low-Sodium bacon yesterday..

So for dinner I figured, why not eat the whole pack..

Now it's 3:30 am.. I'm still awake and drinking tall glasses of water...

And... I can't sleep because I gotta get up to pee every 20 minutes.

Legit.  Soup too salty, throw a potato in it to absorb.  Maybe it'll work in your stomach soup.

But it's too late isn't it?

Cuz I ate the bacon pack 3 hours ago..   and have been drinking water since 2 hours ago..

It seems like I'm still not diluted...   DAMN YOU ionic bonds...

Not really.  You don't really know if a soup is too salty until it cooks down the water, right?  So if it works, it'd work the same way.  You might be able to get away with some other absorby food, but I only know about taters for now obvious reasons

I'll be a little shocked if it does, honestly.  But it could.  Just eat like a quarter of a potato first.

Came in here expecting a thread filled with salt, not literal salt.

Let me down, all these types of salt, and you chose salty food.

That whole potato-in-soup thing is mainly BS. It sort of works, but not really. The potato will get as salty as the broth, but not beyond it, and after a bit it starts to disintegrate.
