Title: Best man speech.

Tomorrow i am attending a wedding on which im a bestman, trying to finnish my speech but this friend of mine and me only are memories of drunken hazes and stupid pranks when we were little :D How do i write a speech which makes the other attendees feel like the groom is a standup guy(and not the juvenile he is/was) >_<

maybe something about like despite his faults hes a great guy and drag out every nondrinking fun story for as long as possible?

You tell those crazy stories from your youth and then do a segue into current times by saying how he has grown up as person into a stand up guy. How honorable, and mature he has become (or whatever) and how lucky he is to have such a wonderful woman to marry him that will support the side of him that is still a little wild and crazy.

But seriously folks, [groom] has stood by me in good times and in bad, and a bunch of times neither one of us remembers.

Let the maid of honor steal the show.  You just need to have a bromance moment with the groom and people will be as impressed as they need to be.

Great advice guys!

This is somewhere along the lines what i have so far:

(Did stupid stuff when we were little)
(Remind him and the crowd how much our kindergarden teacher hated us subtle)
(Stories about computer games together) <----- im here atm
(How he cleaned up in the military)
(University in the same city and how he met the bride)
(finnish with thanks for the bro love and BOOZE)
