Title: Has anybody used carbon fiber switch stickers?

I'm curiously to see how it looks since I was thinking of buying them and a set of clear switch tops for my latest build.

I believe they are just vinyl like any colored sticker, they just have the carbon fiber pattern. You can check with i3oilermaker just to be sure since he sells them at TechKeys.

I believe they are just vinyl like any colored sticker, they just have the carbon fiber pattern. You can check with i3oilermaker just to be sure since he sells them at TechKeys.

Thanks, techkeys is where I first saw them and they looked pretty cool, I'm pretty sure it's just a vinyl as well otherwise actually carbon fiber would be too thick. I may just have to get a set of stickers in carbon fiber and silver as a fall back.

Update: I ended up pulling the trigger on them, after all they're only $11 for 121 stickers. I bought the clear switch top covers as well and some white LEDs so I'll try and report back with some pics whenever I get the chance.

I have some that I plan on using on a future build with that Carbon Fiber CF-LX case. The stickers are definitely vinyl, but the nice thing is that they have a nice bit of thickness to them thanks to the printed pattern. I've used stickers from techkeys twice before and I find them to be a bit thin. I'm not sure if this varies with other sticker makers (since I have only used techkeys), but the carbon fiber variety is a bit thicker.  :thumb:

Thanks, that's good to know, I figured they would look noticeable if I put a clear switch top on and white LEDs to reflect off of it as well. I'm still waiting in the mail for vintage mx blue switches, mx lock switches, stabs, springs, sip sockets, LEDs, clear switch tops, and finally the stickers before I can even start building. I can't stand the wait, I'm heading to college Thursday so even when the parts do come up I either need to have them mailed to my apartment or drive 2 1/2 hours back home for it.  :p
