Title: Maltron Right-handed keyboard.
Post by: figit090 on Sat, 15 August 2015, 07:09:07
If it was a lefty maybe I'd try it... don't want to relearn mousing with the left hand and I like my Kinesis.

Thought someone might be interested and this is my first "great find" post so hopefully someone is!

I don't think I could handle this.

Finally, a mechanical keyboard that lets me type in one hand, and drink coffee in the other!

If it stays $20, that's a great price.

Now to get on a level beyond even this...

I agree, that would be a good deal. I have one like this (though with the "official" Maltron 5-pin DIN to PS/2 converter), and the switches are Cherry MX Blacks. Also, Soarer's converter should work on it, I think, since it works on my two-handed Maltron.

/I paid a fair amount more for mine, but I was incredibly curious about them. Very, very light construction, lots of hand wiring of the switches using 30 gauge copper magnet wire, but quite well thought-out.
