I just went round to a neighbour's house tonight because I've not seen them for months and I noticed that the lady of the house was using a laptop and I knew by her face that she hated the keyboard a scissor thing that was mushy.
Cath, my friend learnt on a manual and she asked me if she could plug a better keyboard into her new Samsung (forgot the model) and I said sure and promptly nipped home for my 1391406 and the adapter cable.
She was so impressed that she kept the keyboard! - I'm not allowed to retrieve it until I get her a "new" old one - so back to the shop with the debit card.A few of Cath's friends are also real typists so they'll probably want a few IBM's as well once they feel the crispness of the Beemer from Big Blue haha.
Thanks to you all you now have me, my friend, her hubby and two kids who love real keyboards.Kyle - the eldest is into gaming and he wants one for his lapdog (as I call 'em) so that's at least four in one house.
Keep up the good work lads.

I recently gave one of my Ms to my sister, as she was looking over my keyboard collection and noted how much she missed typing on the "big clicky" keyboards. Gotta spread the love.

I got one of my friends to switch with a Dell AT101W in a similar situation. He likes his more than I liked mine, as I sold mine, and he's still using his...oh well. They were cheap.

It's amazing Mercen_505 and Tim that a lot of people are simply unaware that there are better keyboards out there and they have to type on crap mushy rubber domes that flex with every keystroke. Also people I know in their forties must have typed on a model m or similar quality board working in an office, shop or POS environment.
It's like showing people how they can get good sound for the same price as crap sound with a stereo. That's the never properley retired audiojunky in me coming out.
Oh by the way try to audition the Soundmatters FoxL mini bloothtooth speaker contraption - it's fab haha!

My parents both use Dell AT-101Ws.
