If you look into it, it's not actually that crazy or creepy, it's just a tool to recruit the best cryptographers in the world to make the best most open source security and privacy tools.

That said, it's still super cool.

From what I've been reading about the latest countdown most of the investigation is going on on 4chan, which I don't really want to go on at work so I'll have a gander when I get home and see if there is anything on there.
