Post by: flizz on Mon, 17 August 2015, 20:55:35
Hey guys, I recently ordered something from mass drop

https://www.massdrop.com/buy/vortex-pbt-keycaps

I have a filco majestouch(first gen) keyboard I was wondering if the cherry profile will fit my keyboard.
Also if you guys have a preference cherry profiles or OEM profiles. Thanks guys.

Profile won't affect compatibility, you'll be fine.

And definitely Cherry profile

There will possibly be some interference between this Vortex keycap set and Costar Stabilizer, especially the first generation of Filco.
However, you still have chance not to encounter this.

I can't tell you if you should cancel or not because you still have chance not to encounter this interference.
As s result of this vortex keycaps are thicker then normal ABS or other PBT keycaps, the costar stabilizer wire might hit the inside face of keycap when you press down the switch.
Not every keyboard with costar stabilizers would have this interference.

You may just want to wait and see. If they don't work I'm sure there will be someone willing to take them off your hands.
