Title: hot-swapping converted keyboards
Post by: chyros on Fri, 21 August 2015, 04:04:42
So you're not supposed to hot-swap PS/2 keyboards, right? But you CAN hot-swap USB keyboards. So, can you hot-swap a PS/2 keyboard with an active USB converter at the end, or will you still risk damaging the keyboard?

No, you're fine to hot-swap them with USB.

Somewhat off-topic, but if Soarer's Converters are involved, and you try to add a 2nd one, it won't work.

Only the first Soarer's Teensy is recognized at a time.

Cool, and what about if you use just a simple adapter rather than a converter?
