There was some Cherry board that had an 8u spacebar, if I remember correctly. Not sure the model number.

But the TI-99/4A used an 8u spacebar! :D

Ah, makes sense.

Cherry had these available and so we bought a lot, and well, they don't fit what we need. Would these be good for those who would like to cut/bend their own custom sizes?

The GH60 150-layout plates support an 8u spacebar, if anyone were interested in building theirs like that. :)

Interesting...funny side note, my last Crap Bag from SP featured an 8u SA White/Trans Spacebar which fits...we just don't have any PCBs for it atm

The only one I know of is the Wyse PCE (http://deskthority.net/wiki/Wyse_PCE) - a terminal keyboard with mostly IBM Enhanced layout. They have Cherry MX.
Those that are flat above the function keys are usually PS/2-compatible.
Some were branded something else, and there are some with rubber domes.

That's a huge spacebar, and those CTRL caps are also gigantic :D

I think that the Leading Edge 2014 has a 9u space bar.

All the terminal WYSE boards I have picked up were 9.75unit.  But here is a mind blow, IvanIvanovich, had a 15 unit but used it as a paint stirrer.

I acquired an NCR PCB recently with what appears to be 8u black wire
