Hello lovelies!
The gf and I are moving to Durham, NC! We're planning to move around late Nov or perhaps early next year. We're super excited and I would love to hear from some GHers from NC and what you guys think of the area and any pointers or tips you may have.
We're probably also looking to buy our first home there and would love to know which neighborhoods we should look into.
Are there any areas we should avoid?
What's good to eat?
I can't wait to meet some Raleigh members and geek out together!

Awesome! I went to Raleigh once to visit a friend, please stop what you're doing and go to The Cowfish. They serve fantastic food (burgers, sushi, fusion sushi/burger rolls, best milkshakes ever). I'll be back for the GH meetup in October; I'm sure a few others here can chime in.

Welcome! Not sure how I missed this. I moved the Raleigh Durham area over 20 years ago from Upstate NY and have never looked back. We are having a Meetup on October 3rd. If there is anyway you could make it, you could get to know many of the local folks.
