I just discovered that with an adapter, I can buy Canon FD lenses for pretty cheap to use with my Olympus EPL3. I've been wanting to mess around with lenses but I was scared off by the prices on the Olympus 4/3 lenses. Apparently I can get stuff like this Canon FD 50mm lens (http://www.amazon.com/Canon-Lens-FD-50mm-18/dp/B004FK1NO8) for ~$30.
I'm still new to photography so I thought it'd be fun to see if anyone had thoughts on Canon FD lenses or other lenses I could use in my camera. I don't know much about lenses but I'm eager to learn.
Also....ooo there's an FD fisheye lens.

Somewhat OT but I have a love/hate thing with my Oly E-PM1 (similar to your E-PL3) with several lenses, especially the pany 20mm f1.7. The image quality is great, with that lens especially, but the autofocus is just too slow. It's faster with newer m43 lenses but still pretty annoying when shooting anything other than landscapes.
With a cheap adaptor I'm guessing you'll be limited to manual focus. As long as you keep that in mind it could be a lot of fun. Could also be really frustrating.

Welcome to another rabbit hole of a hobby. Would you like a tracking device so you can notify us when you would like to get out?

Please. I've discovered there's a **** ton of vintage lenses and adapters for said lenses that will work. I'm scared.

The key is to plan your obsessions in advance. I'm saving photography for the first half of my 30's. For my 40's, I'm thinking model trains.
