Title: youtube gaming vs. twitch?

With the release of YouTube Gaming coming out tomorrow, thought I'd fire up some discussion about how you boys like either one:

well google tried to buy twitch but amazon got it, now they need to compete with twitch lol and without some AMAZING features and paying top streamers to leave twitch it'll literally never take off

well google tried to buy twitch but amazon got it, now they need to compete with twitch lol and without some AMAZING features and paying top streamers to leave twitch it'll literally never take off

Even if they paid streamers to leave, azubu tried the same thing with fnatic and skt and failed miserably (being a money front and doing basically nothing other than acquiring a brightcove license for your streaming platform doesn't help though).  Most of Google's branches don't fare well against competition, especially if they have a social component.  Heck, YT was bought only because Google Video was getting absolutely destroyed by it when it came out.

I completely forgot azubu was even a thing wow
