Did you catch the premier of the new series? What were your thoughts? I'm very biased with zombie **** so I liked it. But I'm curious about the rest of you.

I liked it

If I have not finished The Walking Dead, is it worth starting this one? Or should I just go finish The Walking Dead.

I don't see it spoiling anything.

Its kind of a prequel of sorts. So far anyway. The events in the walking dead are further in the future of the outbreak. They are unrelated other than the same walking dead universe.
Also, the walking dead itself isn't over. They will run new episodes at the same time. So it's basically two different timelines with two different casts.

^what you said. This is similar to Better Call Saul, but I feel that something is lost in that show if you haven't seen breaking bad. In fear twd, there hasn't been any hints so far to imply that any previous cast (afaik) or and other story arch are shared.

Yea I would say you are much better off watching Breaking Bad in its entirety first to familiarize yourself with the character of Saul before watching better call Saul.

Is it better than TWD? Because besides a few episodes, TWD has mainly been disappointing.

Well you are trying to compare a single episode to an entire show..

Ahh, very cool. I think I can get behind that. I'll just catch up on TWD while I watch FTWD. :)) Thanks guys!
