Title: Took my keyboard (Ducky Shine 4)'s face off, and now can't get it back on.
Post by: Porsti on Sat, 29 August 2015, 09:25:16
To get the faceplate bit off, I had to poke the tabs free with a screwdriver and left it . Now it's time to put it back on, but I can't quite get it to click down or get those tabs back in the correct place. Do I just have to push really really hard, and fight the feeling that I'm breaking it? Or is there some trick I'm missing? Has anyone else done this?

I couldn't find any videos of people replacing these faceplates, and I don't want to **** around with since it's a brand-new $220 purchase and I'm nervous about it. Any help would be awesome.

It should just pop back in to place.. I haven't done it with a Shine 4, but I've taken off the top of my QFR a few times without too much trouble. Maybe something about the Shine 4 is different, but I doubt it.. it was harder to get off than back on for me.
