Post by: tp4tissue on Mon, 31 August 2015, 12:23:55

/Fate...

And I got all excited about spending $500 on the gimp glasses,  only to be met with fettered destiny...

So this is TP trying to make himself more computeresque, and has been found wanting. Ouch! Back to reality with your crappy human eyes.

You know.. I'm quite sure not seeing the world as "colorfully" alters my perspective relative to the "normals".

I'm not totally sure if I am rationalizing this mild-disability, but overall,  PERHAPS seeing less colors (less dedicated visual processing) frees up my neural CPU for other tasks..  ??

Like how to come up with High-Troll-Lvl comments such as this.. (http://www.cute-factor.com/images/smilies/onion/014.gif)

LOL, yes, your neural CPU will be available for many other tasks now!

I sat in a lecture once and was told that our human brain has the relative capacity to 18 megabytes or something but I'm not sure which codec we use to store memories in....I need to research that.

i call bull****

18 MB is waaay too low for human brain storage, considering you never really forget anything, you simply can't recall it...

Welll.....

The information we retain is compressed and decomposed.....  I don't think you can put a linear measurement on it..
