What do you think the difference between the MX Blue and the Gateron Blue? Currently I'm ordering 5 pc of gateron blue, 125 pc 50-A O-rings and Dota 2 PBT Keycap. I'm really curious since Gateron switches are a lot smoother from my personal experience. (i have a custom 60% board with Gateron Clear). I think i will be posting some sound test of the Gateron Blue with the Dota 2 PBT Keycap with and without o-rings after they arrive ;))

Honestly felt the same as an MX Blue to me.

Slightly smoother, slightly more tactile, slightly shorter actuation distance. But you need to be really sensitive to feel the difference.

The sound is different too I think.
I couldn't feel a difference when I tried it.

I feel that it has more distinct click sound, honestly as much as I like cherry blues, I think my hands love gateron more :( bitter truth

Okay thanks for your opinion guys. I will do some little sound test soon as they arrive in my mail.

I think Gateron Blue crisper than Cherry MX Blue :D

gate blue also have a bit of a higher actuation point (almost 1mm higher)

I knew I've read that someone felt this way.
Is the actuation point higher across the gateron line heood?

Not sure, I just know that the physical click on the blues is higher. I actually haven't gotten to solder a board up with linear gaterons so I can't really test it. I would be interested to hear though

The difference is Cherry MX Blues are **** these days. They don't even click anymore. Gateron must have sabotaged Cherry's production before implementing their own products.
Hahaha yeah. The Navy Blue is really bad. They're slightly scratchier either. Maybe cherry changed it into tactile switch instead of clicky
