Title: Converting CH DT225 to USB?
Post by: TastaturenAuslese on Thu, 03 September 2015, 16:11:03
Just offered for this on eBay and the seller accepted: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/370865583055?euid=8556249a1118427c815878499899b5e7&cp=1

Any idea how I can use this? Not familiar with this bus at all.

On that note, do you think $85 USD is a good deal for this?

Hi, nice find. I don't know if my firmware can be used as it is done for raw quadrature signals (BUSMOUSE protocol). I have the manual at home with the access bus pinout, I'll check what I can find.

There‘re lots of variations of DT225 out there.
I've seen 3 layouts online but they are all different from the one I have. :'(
If it's indeed a bus mouse this should help: http://deskthority.net/other-devices-f3/ch-products-trackball-pro-t9874.html

Man, I remember back in the day when you could get bus mouse cards at Dalco a dime a dozen.  Where are those cards when you need one...

I imagine that it could easily be adapted with an arduino.
