Title: FS/FT - NEW Mionix Naos 7000
Post by: bazemk1979 on Thu, 17 September 2015, 15:56:47
Just received the Mionix Naos 7000 from Massdrop, looks like I don't like the palm grip style of the mouse, Would prefer to trade it for the Mionix Avior or if I cant find no one to trade it with then I'll sell it for $50 shipped conus.

If there is anyone interested I received the mice yesterday so its a new mice, would like to try the Avior 7000 since its a claw type of grip, only interested in the 7000 version of Avior.

For anyone on the fence with this, I absolutely love mine.  It's a huge step up from my 5200.

Would you say it is as big as the pictures make it seem?

It's on the small side for my hands (ideally it'd be ~1/4-1/2" wider), but it's the closest to the right sized mouse for my hand I've felt in a long time.

Overall, it's ~1" wider than my wheel mouse optical at the base, but the same width at the top.  Hopefully that gives you an idea of the size.  IMO, unless you have the hand of a 5 year old, it should be a perfect fit.

The mice is perfect for medium/large hands but you have to be the type of person who loves holding the mice with the whole palm, feels very naturally. I have sort of large hands, but I'm way too used to claw gripping. the area where the pinky rest feels soooo natural and is well designed, too bad I'm a claw gripper user, not palm gripper.
