The Dell W875D "Multimedia Pro USB Keyboard". It says in the description "improved keyboard mechanical and electrical design; this keyboard also features tactile feel technology".

I'm hoping this isn't rubber dome garbage.
To make this thread a bit more useful for me, the Dell (ughh) website also has the G84-4100 which has a tiny backspace key D:
They also have a SIIG JK-AB0211. I like the SIIG, wanna try some white ALPS.
If none of this pans out, I'm gonna pick up a Scorpius M10 or Unicomp Customizer.

Yeah, I think those are the Chinese-layout ones with Blue switches. They were all the rage a few months back when a US seller ended up with a load of them and was selling them cheap.

I'm not a big fan of keyboard modding. I might inject some silicone grease and add some washers to decrease the noise level of my Customizer, but that's about it.
I would not go with POSGlobal. Check out geminicomputers.com. If they don't have it in stock, they can custom order it. This is what happened with my second G80.

Didn't know that gemini could custom order. If I pick up any more, I'll go with them. Actually if I like this one, I'll pick up a few from gemini as gifts. I like giving keyboards for christmas, it's sort of a tradition of mine.
I also already ordered it from POSglobal. Are they really that bad? :(

Heh, if you're going to order more, you might as well get a few different keyboards. Try getting an AT101W or Model M, both of which can be found for cheap.

There's a recycled computer warehouse a few towns over that has Model Ms all the time. I used one for many, many years back in the AT days so I know that I like them. but I really wanted to give these cherry blue switches a shot after watching some vids. Loved the sound. Had to buy.

The Blue Cherrys are quite nice. Much lighter and less clunky than the Model M, although I don't like the noise as much - it's quite plasticky. Model Fs have the nicest noise and feel of the lot (at least of the keyboards that you can actually use with modern PCs)

I would not say that they are that bad, but it's very hard to get someone on the phone. Someone even said that they don't respond to e-mails and his keyboard just showed up at his door. I did manage to get someone on the phone but he said that they did not have any in stock and that he had to cancel my order. God knows if POSGlobal was going to e-mail me to let me know my order had to be cancelled.
I'm very happy with Geminicomputers, that's why I keep recommending them.

We have a few of these in the office. If there was one scissor-switch keyboard on the planet I might choose to use, it would be this one. It has a solid tactile feel and light activation. It's very nice.

Talking about scissor-switch, is there a scissor-swithc keyboad out there which has the keycaps about the same as a "regular" keyboard instead of flat keycaps? It would be interesting to see how one such keyboard feel like.

To me, of course I may completely misunderstand, NMB switches seemed like they'd behave a bit like scissor switches since there's the two points snapping together as the key goes down.

I don't think so. It sort of defeats the purpose of scissor switches. They were designed to make keyboards thinner, so putting regular caps on them would be counter-productive. That said, you're right, that might be interesting.

It seems to me that all that would do would lower the apparent actuation force of the scissor.

'scissor switch' is a misnomer, since the 'scissoring' mechanism has nothing to do with switching. the mechanism is only there to stabilize the low profile keycaps. the actual switching is done by rubber domes.
