I started out with 100x Vintage MX Blues, 100x Clear Switch Covers, 100x 62g 24kt Gold Sprit Springs, 100x 2x3x4mm White LEDs, 100x Pair of Sip Sockets Clipped, 2x MX Locks, 2x 78g 24kt Gold Sprit Springs.

I opened up each switch, replaced the spring, inserted the sip sockets, put the clear switch cover on, and then snipped each LED to fit.
I decided to go without switch stickers since they have very little(if any) benefit and take up a tremendous amount of time.

Soldering Time! :thumb:

Soldering done but decided to go with a single MX Lock for the Stepped Caps Lock and since I damaged a pair of sip sockets I ended up being short 2x Pair of Sip Sockets & 2x 2x3x4mm White LEDs

This was my first time every building a keyboard and overall I'm pleased. It turned out pretty well and the switches fell amazing.

I later on saw that my windows key was flip-flopped, it's corrected now but too lazy to take new pictures. :p
Update: Managed to get the sip sockets aligned close enough to the LED hole to get a LED to work. I fixed the Windows key as well :thumb:

Thanks to LXXXIX, Blaise170, and Alienman 82 for the help in gathering all the parts.

Looks really good. I love the way the light shines through in the picture with the Granite set.

I was surprised how well Granite turned out, I've been waiting on Hyperfuse to see how well that set will look. It's a shame that my TA set has a lot a light bleeding through it but that set wasn't really compatible with the board.

I feel like DSA was made for the lightsaver/rs96 layout. Nice looking board!
Your bottom row is THE bottom row for 1800 layouts too.

Thanks, I really love the layout but my Right Control is actually my Fn key but I didn't seem to have a 1.5u FN key for Granite, Hyperfuse does not have one either.

Thanks for posting this build log!
I'm waiting for an RS96 to arrive for me in the mail... and to be honest, I am very nervous about doing the soldering and aligning the switches for the first time.
