So this isn't as bad a switch as I thought it would be. Sure, it is scratchy as can be, but I think they will smooth out over time with use. The keycaps are shallow and the travel is pretty short and these are linear, but I'm going to try changing the keycaps to regular height and see what happens.
For $26 and change, these are a pretty good deal if you need a external keypad that isn't some crappy rubberdome.
But that's a full keyboard. If you need just a keypad to go with a laptop or something like that, I haven't found a cheaper deal for a decent pad, especially one that's new.So this isn't as bad a switch as I thought it would be. I'd rather spend the money on a g80-3700 (mine was $30), but can't argue with how tiny it is. The 3700 is quite large.

The 3700 is not a keyboard, but a keypad. Has PS/2 passthrough for use with other Cherry boards.Sorry looked at the wrong pictures before posting. Definitely a nice keypad, but it's really hard to come by from my quick searches. :(Show Image(http://i.imgur.com/Ai3lSh.jpg)
So after using this a few times on some 10keytyping tests, I've found that I really like it and my speeds show that I'm as quick as I am on the Ms ten key. The MY switches are interesting. It is like they're a shorter throw cherry blue that isn't as smooth, but since the throw is so short, you don't really get a chance to sense how smooth or not smooth the stroke is.
THANK YOU! I thought I might have messed this up, but didn't come back and check. :thumb:So after using this a few times on some 10keytyping tests, I've found that I really like it and my speeds show that I'm as quick as I am on the Ms ten key.
